Good stay but short on amenities

Pros: Modern lobby area with decent but expensive bar. Comfortable bed and good shower.

Cons: Generally, I did not feel like it quite lived up to other Hilton locations. While the neighbourhood is upscale, it is a €15 taxi ride to and from the Old Town district, which makes it more expensive than staying near Placa Catalunya. The minibar was empty, the mirrors need replacing, no turndown service, the restaurant is under construction and there is no pool or gym.

Great simple but good quality hotel with excellent staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Staff were extremely helpful, the front desk were really kind.

Cons: The cooked food at breakfast (Spanish omelette, hash browns etc) were poor quality and lukewarm. However the rest of the food at breakfast was delicious and made up for it!
