Really good hotel with excellent friendly staff

Pros: Check in was really smooth and Federico was particularly helpful

Cons: Breakfast was good but some of your competitors offer a wider range of hot food

Just wonderful & vibey

Pros: Ah, what a cool hotel! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was ok - relatively limited buffet, but at least majority of it was tasty. The coffee was excellent. We stayed in a biggie room and it was very comfortable, with a really cool decor. Bathroom does not have a bath, but the massive shower makes up for it. We also loved Hoxton’s own branded toiletries - I will definitely be ordering the body cream because that scent is amazing. Location is also great - not overly central, but honestly having always stayed central in BCN, I actually much preferred Poblenou as it’s still walking distance to everything, but less crowded. Brilliant playground right by it (we have a kid) and big shopping centre across the road for anything you may need. We will definitely be staying there again.

Cons: Luckily all these are easily fixable; - The in room dining menu is extremely limited - to the point we regretted to be too tired to eat out in town as the food wasn’t great. - The smart tv would also benefit from having streaming apps installed so customers can log in with their own accounts as everything on tv is Spanish (totally expected as you’re in Spain!). - Finally, the randomest one - the toilet paper was awful - it was like something out of 1980’s Eastern Europe.

wonderful staff and cool design

Pros: wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. I left my passport in the safe and the staff rang me and arranged transport by courier with no fuss. Excellent service throughout. Love the design and all communal areas. We went for ROOMY choice of rooms and it was comfortable and well designed though didnt have a bath tub . We loved the bar and playlist.

Cons: area is industrial and about 30 minutes walk to main sights and shopping area. However it's also only 30 minutes walk to the beach. Not a good area for restaurants. Its perfect for work but not very attractive as all buildings are modern high rise.

I will definitely come back to The Hoxton for one of my next stays in Barcelona.

Pros: I loved the location, the neighborhood is full of great places to dine out, have brunch, grab a coffee/whatever you need. The room was tidy and had it's own charm, however I didn't find any slippers/bathrobe and I believe those would definitely add up to the overall experience of my stay.

Cons: Everything was great, cannot have anything negative to highlight here.

Pros: Great hotel! Very nice staff, pet friendly and they only take additional cost for the dog. Very nice decorations

Excellent stay, great location and amazing staff

Pros: I had a great stay at The Hoxton, Poblenou and would happily give it a 10/10. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from public transport stations, making it very easy to get around Barcelona. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the people: the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast was good and enjoyable — not overly extravagant, but definitely high quality and more than sufficient to start the day well. A big advantage is also the availability of parking, which is a huge plus in a city like Barcelona. Overall, a very comfortable, well-organized hotel with great service and a fantastic location. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

Pros: What makes a great hotel isn’t the absence of problems, but how quickly and thoughtfully they’re resolved when they arise—and The Hoxton truly excels at that. Any small issue we encountered was handled immediately and with genuine care. The staff were always on the spot, friendly, and professional, making us feel well looked after throughout our stay. Add to that the excellent customer service, fantastic location, spotless cleanliness, and overall great atmosphere, and it’s clear why this hotel stands out. A truly enjoyable and stress-free experience from start to finish.

Cons: A (security?) guy told me I couldn’t take pictures in the main area, which was odd.
