Hotel Rec Barcelona - Adults Only

Pros: The hotel was super close to everything, plaça Catalunya is just 10 minutes on foot. The staff both in reception and the bar was friendly and accommodating, the check in / out was super fast, there were are a lot of activities to do at the hotel and the view from the 7th floor was nice as well. The room was spacious and clean , fresh towels were provided everyday and were super appreciated. Our stay was pleasant we totally recommend.

Cons: An iron would be appreciated and also a fridge for the summer months maybe but the bar is a couple of floors upstairs so it was no inconvenience Also at our room the wall mounted faucet and the toilet brush holder needs some attention but they both fuctioned properly

Pros: Perfect location, kind and welcoming staff, great room size, tasty breakfast with the view!

Pros: The location was excellent, easy to walk to most places. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Cons: There was a sewage smell near reception and in the lift. Probably a drainage issue.

I would recommend a stay there

Pros: Central for everything very good food nearby tour buses were excellent. A very beautiful city very clean and plenty to see.ex

Pros: REC Hotel was better than expected. The room was clean and comfortable. It has a rooftop bar where the view is great. The Hotel is located perfectly. You can walk aroud the Gothic area easily where you can find a lot of cute shops, boutiques, bakeries, restaurants and convinience stores. There is also a great tapas bar next to the Hotel. All tourist attraction are accessible by bus if needed, the nearest bus stops are located in a 1-2 minute walk. I totally recommend the Hotel for everyone!

Totally worth the stay

Pros: It was a perfect location, staff was amazing and accommodating, breakfast was fantastic and the room was a great size with everything it required. Bed was also very comfortable.

Cons: I can’t say there was anything we did not like. The room could have used a bit of love but overall great quality for the price and very trendy. I would highly recommend. Staff was amazing.

Pros: Amazing location, very close to bus or metro station, walking distance to the beach or Sagrada familia. Restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep. Rooftop terrace spot on with a great bar. Staff absolutely amazing, making you feel welcome and happy to help and very friendly. I would like to say BIG thank you to the girls and a guy for the bar (sorry dont know your names) you were absolutely amazing and wishing you all the best! Ohh and breakfast absolutely recommend with a great price 👌

Great location, friendly staff

Pros: Fantastic location — everything was easily accessible, which made getting around very convenient. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions, which made the stay feel relaxed and comfortable. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and the room felt fresh and pleasant throughout our visit. Overall, the atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed our time there, so we would definitely choose to visit again.

Cons: One small surprise was the €100 deposit, as there was no information about it online or in any email communication; however, the money was returned promptly at the end of our stay. It would also be even better if more coffee was provided in the room each day. Aside from these minor points, we had a very positive experience.

Pros: In a great location. Modern, clean and good value.
