Alternative Creative Youth Hostel Barcelona

Pros: People were very helpfull as I was lost in the neighbourough. The hosting was perfect.

Cons: The bathroom is really basic, but it's an Hostel, not a five ✨!

A good hostel overall, would go again

Pros: It is a small hostel with a nice common area and a calm environment. It is well organized, and the kitchen is just ok (not super complete, but it did provide oil, sugar, salt, etc. Great!). The free cookies and tea/coffee is a very nice touch. It was a great location, close to everything and with many gastronomic options nearby.

Cons: I think this hostel could be a 10 if they did a few things to improve the bathrooms. The showers have no curtain and no hanger so you have to improvise to prevent your stuff from getting wet. Also a curtain in the beds would be nice, but overall it is a good hostel.

Pros: This is by no means a luxurious stay, but it is incredibly clean, comfortable and has a great location. But above all that, the staff was beyond fantastic. I had been scammed at another hostel and called this hostel in the middle of the night and they welcomed me with open arms. The young man that works there even met me outside on the street and walked me to the hostel when I had trouble finding the door. The next day there was a young woman working there that made me feel so welcomed and happy that I even decided to book another night there instead of a hotel I had previously booked. The same young girl was there when I checked in remembered me and said “welcome home”. I’ve never felt more comfortable in any hostel in my 36 years on this planet and I will book this place every time I return to Barcelona.

Pros: I am a Solo Traveler. I have stayed in Hostels in more than 20 cities in 12 different European countries. But I have never met such excellent staff as in this hostel. And the location of the hostel is absolutely amazing. Thanks for everything.

Great spot in the center and for making new friends

Pros: The location of the hostel is very good, not far from Plaza Cuatalonia, from where it is convenient to get by bus to the airport. There is also a metro station, supermarkets and shops nearby. The staff is very friendly, there are enough comfortable beds and a locker for each guest

Cons: There are not enough hooks for clothes in the showers.

Great central position

Pros: As I arrived in BCN at 4 in the morning due to a delayed plane, I really appreciated the 24 hour reception. The instructions were clear and despite the late (or rather early) hour, the receptionist showed me everything necessary. I was in the 8-bed mixed dormitory, so I was a little worried, but it was perfect, we were only women anyway, it was not very hot and the bed was comfortable. Despite the very central position it was not too noisy, which was a pleasant surprise, and despite the doors made of glass, it was reasonably dark (I am very particular about noise, darkness and temperature and all these were ok, which was a pleasant surprise). If you need to come/get to the airport during the night, it is highly recommended, due to the Aerobus bus stop which is just several hundred meters away.

Cons: The washbasins in the restrooms are rather narrow.

Room was clean and tidy. Room has lockers for all beds. Staffs are really nice and cooperative.
