St Christopher's Inn Barcelona

Great and cheap stay!

Pros: Apart from the guy under me snoring obnoxiously loud one night, the rest of the hostel was a once again for my third time, a great experience. One of the desk guys, (forgot his name unfortunately), got me into the Super Bowl event at Belushi’s next door even though I didn’t have a reservation (the one with Bad Bunny) and it was a great laugh talking to the staff. Best hostel in Barcelona.

Cons: The guy snoring obviously which you can’t do much about, and the showers. There’s some showers that have drains that look unsanitary, and have protruding pipes or flooring. It doesn’t look pleasant to step on and shower comfortably. Also the shower timers are too short and a bit inconvenient even though the environment thing is valid.

Great central location, clean facilities and a fun social atmosphere.

Pros: I had a really good stay at St Christopher’s Inn Barcelona. The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city so it was easy to walk to La Rambla, the metro and lots of restaurants and shops. The hostel itself felt lively but still organised and safe. I really liked how clean everything was. The rooms and bathrooms were well maintained and the beds were comfortable with good lockers for luggage which made it feel secure. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had a question. One of the best parts was the social atmosphere. It was easy to meet other travellers and the bar downstairs created a fun environment without feeling overwhelming. The hostel also had good facilities and everything was very convenient. Overall it was a great place to stay in Barcelona. Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice social vibe. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Overall I really enjoyed my stay at St Christopher’s Inn Barcelona, but one thing at times the air felt quite stuffy and the room could get a bit of a smell, especially when the dorm was full. Better airflow or ventilation would have made the room feel fresher and more comfortable. Aside from that small issue the hostel was still a great place to stay because the location, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere made the experience really enjoyable.

Pros: The location is just perfect 👌 you have almost everything you need around.

Cons: The price is very affordable, staff is super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Central location and the lounge on first floor. Kelly and Moja at the reception were knowledgeable, supper efficient and also accommodating when trying to help partially change reservations. A flexible and can-do attitude definitely set them apart!

Cons: Their website fails to clearly differentiate between “non‑refundable” and “non‑modifiable” reservations, despite these being materially different concepts. A cancellation is not the same as a date modification, yet both are treated identically. This lack of clarity is misleading to consumers. Introducing reasonable flexibility for date changes would ensure greater transparency, align with fair consumer practices, and promote customer trust and loyalty.

Pros: Everything was amazing! Staff were the best! The bar area is great you get to meet loads of people, they have games and activities on everyday. The rooms were really good , showers worked fine. And you can't get better location than that, and for the price well worth it

Pros: Very good location, worth the money when you're on a really tight budget, very nice common room and very nice staff! We didn't do any of the activities at the hostel like the cocktail workshops or going out together, but they are a great initiative to get to know fellow travellers. You can get some discounts too, which is very nice!

Cons: Since we stayed in January, there was no AC in our room and during the night the temperature in the room was way too high. The hot air mixed with everyone's smelly feet and shoes was just horrible to breathe in. The metal bunk beds are units of four and when somebody moved, all beds moved and it made a lot of sound. The metal drawers with squeaky springs were also not very nice to have your head next to... To conclude, I did not sleep comfortably at all. Lets talk about the sanitary facilities. Both the toilet unit and the shower unit have doors that do not close the room off from top to bottom, like swimming pool cubicles, and thus give no privacy of sound and smell. The showers worked with a push button and were either too hot or too cold. One cubicle had hairs on the ground two consecutive days I stayed there, yet my toiletries that I accidentally left in another, were thrown out after one day. So, just remember to bring flipflops and don't forget to clean up after yourself.

Great Location and Great Staff, I'll stay there again.

Pros: The staff was amazing, the guy who was int the reception on my check in is a really nice guy (I don't remember his name I tryed to find on the website but I couldn't, I think it was Alvaro), the place is in the city centre, perfect for public transport, well cleaned and cozy.

Cons: The bed hasn't a protection on the side on the wall, so my cell phone fall by a few times when it shakes.
