Itaca Hostel

Great base to explore the city, very central. Great kitchen facilities with some complimentary tea and coffee.

Pros: It’s a great location in the Gothic quarter right next to the Barcelona Cathedral.

Cons: Nothing, property was good.

Pros: Location is absolutely perfect, very convenient, 24hr reception with really nice staff is a big plus

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in

Pros: One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Clean, comfortable, friendly, social, and in an unbeatable location in Barcelona. I especially loved the easy-to-join group chat which gave us activities to do every day, and the lovely common room which was so cosy and comfortable. The kitchen and balconies are also a huge bonus, and the bathrooms were very clean. Loved also that everyone got a locker and that each bed had a privacy curtain, reading light and charging ports.

Cons: The only thing I struggled with was noise - there was construction noise on the street which wasn’t their fault, but it was also easy to hear people talking through the walls while trying to sleep. To Itaca’s credit, they close the common area at midnight to try to stop sleep disturbances, but sound still carries through the space from the kitchen and through the walls; and I think they may need to enforce the post-10pm quiet policy more strictly (at least in bedroom areas).

Pros: The place is very pleasant and central, which makes moving or getting around easy. Also, the staff is highly professional, friendly and helpful. I was really impressed.

Pros: Very nice Hostel especially for young travellers! The hostel makes evening prgrrames too if you are interested! Very good experience!

Nice place, good location, comfortable beds and pleasant stuff

Pros: I stayed only one night but the hostel seems to have everything that you need, nice, cozy, comfortable beds and very pleasant people who work there. Good location as well.

Pros: The location was solid and I got lost a few times but during to the location near the church I was able to find it quick the staff was awesome especially Gabby the Venezuelan guy and the short one with the curly hair everyone made my stay solid and the facilities were great especially the bathroom and the kitchen was awesome especially with the signs I will recommend anyone to the hostel and rest assured I will be back in August thanks once again for the wonderful Gabby that assist me wen I had to return to the hostel wen my flight to Amsterdam was cancelled during to the snow storm god bless u guys from Barbados with love 💕

Really great

Pros: Really a great wee hostel. Friendly staff, good security, comfy beds with big lockers. Exceptionally clean everywhere. It has a really nice kitchen eating and lounge area rolling into each other which is homely and facilitates travellers chat. Also a brilliant location. Loved it.

Pros: The location was great. the staff was really friendly and helpful, not only regarding the stay but about everything necessary.

Gooood

Pros: It is literally on the corner of the cathedral, a great location if you want to be in the middle of all the main touristic objects. Friendly staff, every evening there is an activity organised by the hostel and you can join it and have some fun. Everything in the shared areas seemed clean and tidy.

Cons: Not a very comfortable ladder to go to the top bunk bed xD
