Pros: Staying at Casa Filomena has all the charms of a country home right in the middle of a beautiful, charming urban neighborhood. It is a lovely place to stay - very comfortable, easy, and attractive. As a bonus, Pati is so kind and welcoming, so you will feel right at home.

Excellent hospitality in a lovely disttict of Barcelona

Pros: Adorable two bedroom perfect for a small family visiting Barcelona. The surrounding street is charming and quiet yet easy to get to the center of barcelona.

Perfect location and lovely property

Pros: Casa Filomena is a town house located a short Metro ride outside the centre of Barcelona in Sarria, (station is a very short walk away)This for us was perfect, it's just off the square and the property is traditional Spanish with only 2 rooms, decorated to a high standard and immaculately clean. We had the back room with a small balcony which was not overlooked.We had use of a Kitchen where we made coffee and a bakery across the street was handy for pastries etc.We ate at lots of local restaurants, all were good value and serving great food, much better than the centre of Barcelona or the beach area where we found it more expensive. Pati, our host met us at the property even though our flight was delayed the contact we had was excellent. If you want traditional real Spain this is definitely the place for you and I cannot recommend it enough.

A gem in Barcelona

Pros: Wonderful place to stay., a village neighbourhood away from the crowds. Great facilities, safe, clean and handy location. Pati is a very welcoming & communicative host.

Comfortable, beautiful

Pros: Pati was really nice and welcoming. The apartman is super cozy and comfortable, in a district where locals live, less tourists. The acces to the city centre is easy by metro and bus, although Barcelona is quite big, so you might need some time to arrive. The common kitchen functioned well, it is nicely equipped, although two families (two apartman) couldn't simply cook at the same time, there aren't enough utensils, but fortunately we cooked at separate times during our stay here. We had really nice time here. Thank you!

Cozy stay and a great host

Pros: Very calm vibe, in a very good neighborhood with good connections, supermarkets, and restaurants around. Pati was an amazing host, always reachable and very nice. Will highly recommend.

Pros: My first and the best stay experience in Barcelona :) nice location, just 5 minutes walk to any market or bakery, lovely garden on the ground floor ☺️ The owner was super nice and tried to make our stay more comfortable. Highly recommend to stay here!

Quiet, clean and cosy getaway

Pros: A very neat place to stay in a quiet but lovingly busy area with everything you need nearby. The whole place was very clean and well designed. Although the room was not super spacious it offered storage room for everything and was very comfortable. The balcony was perfect for a late night sit in although the ventilation of the restaurant next door was quite noisy at times. The kitchen is well equipped and inviting (especially with the terrace). It is located right beneath the main square of the area in the shopping street so there are plenty of restaurants and shops super close by. The bus stop bringing you to the city center or the beach is around 3 walking minutes away. The host is very responsive and gave us nice recommendations for the area. We can highly recommend Casa Filomena for a beautiful and quiet getaway from the busy part of Barcelona!

A wonderful city break

Pros: We stayed for three nights before heading on to Salou and absolutely loved it. We arrived late the first night, but it was no hassle to self check in. The room was just what we needed, but the kitchen made all the difference as we didn't want to have every meal out. The bakery across the street is wonderful, and the surrounding area is lovely to stroll around. Transport into the city centre is really close and convenient. Pati was an absolutely gorgeous host, so warm and welcoming. We'll definitely stay here again during our next visit to Barcelona and will recommend Casa Filomena to all my family and friends.

Pros: The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of a lovely, safe, and vibrant neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed, and it felt like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly warm, kind, and helpful — always with a big smile and ready to assist with anything we needed. It made such a positive difference in our trip and made us feel so welcome. We left Barcelona with beautiful memories, and staying here was a big part of that. We would love to come back again and would definitely choose this place without hesitation.
