Good value for money - lovely staff

Pros: The location of the hostal is great. Short walk from the centre; the beach and the metro station.

Cons: The bin-smoking policy has not been enforced. I am a smoker myself but don’t like it when the room smells like smoke. Some tenant didn’t respect others and smoked in the room.

It was a brilliant stay in the location unmatched

Pros: The location of the hostel and the staffs were super helpful. The rooms were clean and just for 2 night stay, maybe good enough for even longer stay.

Cons: The elevator was bit small and the layout of the rooms was bit confusing. But the staffs were again very helpful to get to the room and were always available for any help.

Pros: Nice area, near the beach and the metro station. Lots of bars, restaurants with local food, quiet area with respectful neigbours, balcony with a nice view, comfortable room

Good place to stay near Barcelona on a budget

Pros: Hotel in good area. Close to all the local amenities and the beach. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Room was basic but had everything we needed.

Good value for money in a wonderful spot

Pros: It was well placed in Badalona — easy to get to the public transport and to the beach. The staff was fabulous — welcoming and helpful. AC worked well and the water was hot.

Cons: The space was small and a bit rough. The picture on booking seem to be from the more renovated part of the building, while my room was in the older section. Not sure if it was just luck of the draw, but the room was a bit more rough around the edges than the pics would have you believe.

Good value accommodation close to everything, with a wonderful courtyard and rooftop terrace.

Pros: The location of Hostal Solimar is excellent: close to the beach, well connected by public transport, near restaurants, and the terrace offered a beautiful view.

Cons: There was no comfortable furniture on the beautiful terrace.
