Lovely room

Pros: The small balcony was so fitting and cute, and let the sunshine in. The common area is full of light and you can have complimentary coffee /choco/tea along with snacks 24/7 with a nice view. There is an automatic way to enter, no key required for the entrance.

Cons: Some parts of the room, like the balcony doors were old and a bit damaged but i guess it was an old building...! The building needs a bit of work, especially the staircase.

Nice stay in Barcelona

Pros: Great access to the town either by walking or public transportation. Shops and restaurants all around. The defective bathroom radiator thermostat was remediated very fast. Very friendly people at the reception.

Cons: The entrance door is a bit dated and the shower curtain does not fit properly (is too long and some water leaks out).

Pros: We were very pleased with our stay! First of all, I want to mention that the hostel is in an excellent location. It’s close to almost everything, and we were able to see most of the main attractions just by walking – Casa Batlló was a 6-minute walk away, and Sagrada Família about 15 minutes. The neighborhood itself is very calm, with great shops, cafés, and supermarkets everywhere. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the overall hygiene is at a very high level. A huge convenience is the common room, where you can use the coffee machine and enjoy light snacks and treats available 24/7. There is a supermarket right under the building, and the metro station is about a 3–4 minute walk away. The internet connection was also excellent.

Cons: We did not like the fact that during the booking process we never saw anywhere that this was a hostel and not a hotel. It’s not a problem, but it should definitely be stated clearly and visibly. Additionally, the room rates for all of us who stayed there felt slightly overpriced. A major downside is that smoking is not allowed on the balconies (not even electronic cigarettes, which is quite unreasonable). This makes the stay uncomfortable for guests who simply want to enjoy a cigarette with their coffee instead of having to leave the property. We specifically booked a room with a balcony for this reason, especially since my husband and I both use electronic cigarettes. It would be good to reconsider this rule, as it is definitely a significant drawback.

Pros: Great staff, beautiful building and loved that we could have snacks and coffee any time. We found the lift hilarious as it shouts at you if you take longer than 2 seconds to close the gate. Loved it

Great hospitality and a comfortable stay on the edge of the city centre. Definitely recommended.

Pros: Good location close to rail and bus services, walking distance to Sagrada Família. Plenty of food options nearby. Property provides snacks and coffee/tea making facilities plus a water cooler and a daily room cleaning service. A shared refrigerator is available but there are no in-room services.

Cons: No clothes washing facilities are available and it’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to the property especially if your knees are feeling the years! An antique lift is available if preferred.

Pros: Very cosy, and warm. I love that it felt like home.

Cons: They didn’t have breakfast. But had coffee and snacks

Pros: The location is amayzing and the hospitality was great. Lara is so open and friendly. The room was cozy, the bad was comfortable and on the small balcony in the room we enjoyed the street view and the Barcelona energy. We loved the arhitecture of the building. It was a great experience that I can recommend to anyone.

Cons: Air conditioner was located very inconveniently, so it was either blowing on us freezing cold- or when off was too hot

Pros: Hotel is nice, there is a 24 hours room with free coffee, water and small snacks. The room is fine, average, good value for money.
