Fabulous beach location in Barceloneta

Pros: Proximity to the beach, local market and gorgeous restaurants.

Cons: The duvets had no covers on them and were a little stained... not a huge deal.as they smelt fresh. Also, given it's marketed as a beach apartment, it's a shame no beach towels are provided. They're only €10 in the souvenir shops, but no space in 10kg luggage to take home so not very environmentally friendly.

Wonderful apartment, wonderful city, wonderful break - Gracias Barcelona.

Pros: The host was so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed. This is perfectly located as it is on a quiet residential street but in easy reach of some amazing little restaurants and bars and also a couple of minutes from the beach. Loved the apartment as it had everything we needed and more.

Cons: My friend would have liked a lift but climbing the stairs did us good so not a negative at all :-)

Honestly stayed numerous apartments over the years and this beats them all for value for money. Location amazing.

Pros: Nice 2 bedroom appartment, very close to the beach, many shops around, mercados, Lidl. Many bars, restaurants, groceries around the appartment. The appartment is fully equiped. Laundry tablets, dish soap and trash bags were available, also salt, pepper and oil. Very good shower, towels, soap. A very kind host welcomed us upon our arrival.

Very nice apartment in an excellent location

Pros: This 2 bedroom apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for our 4 night stay. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and public transport. There was good communication from the host before arrival and they met us at the apartment to check in. The apartment is pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Complimentary refreshments on arrival were a very nice surprise. The air conditioning worked well and was needed during the Barcelona heatwave. My family would stay here again.

Cons: The apartment is in a residential area and there are signs around the area asking to be quiet and respectful to the residents but there was quite a bit of noise late at night from people leaving bars, etc.

Cosy small apartment near the beach in excellent location.

Pros: The location of the apartment is excellent, under 5 mins walk to Barcelonetta beach and sea promenade. Bakery and supermarket just round the corner. Lots of food options and shops nearby. City centre (Gothic quarter and El Born) within walking distance of 20 minutes. Apartment is small but cosy, clean, sunny. Has all amenities needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Host Joan even prepared 4 coffee capsules, a bottle of water and a bottle of Cava for us before we arrived. Shower has good pressure. The flat has a nice small balcony, too.

Cons: The apartment is on 4th floor without elevator, accessible only by quite narrow staircase. It has a nice vibe but is not suitable for people with limited movement abilities.

Pros: Location was perfect for us, central and a safe area. The apartments were exactly what we needed. We'd stay again.

Cons: Wifi could have been better.

It was perfect for the price

Pros: I like this appartment. It is good for 3-4 people. It is located in a quiet street and close to the local beach There is a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, bakeries and bars nearby. Public transport is 150m away, several buses are available and the metro is 600m away. The host was kind, flexible and patient. The appartment is clean and impeccable. One thing.. You must communicate arrival information and stay available by phone.

Cons: There was no real problem. It was perfect for the price.

Good clean apartment at a reasonable price in a good location.

Pros: We like the flat very much, it was clean, well equipped and very well located for the beach, going into the city or indeed in our case the motor racing circuit. Communication was good and friendly.

Cons: The only tiny reason it doesn't get a 10 is because the flat is quite compact and they probably should mention the staircase - it's not really suitable for elderly people or small children, but these are minor things in an otherwise excellent apartment.

Would stay again.

Pros: We loved the location. Few minutes walk to the beach, 10 from harbour area with nice bars and restaurants or around 30 mins - 1 hour walk into the main area where we found the shops / attractions etc.

Cons: The sofa wasn’t very comfortable for our chilled night we spent indoors.
