GIRONA - Modernist apartments next to Paseo de Gracia

We did enjoy out stay in Barcelona a lot.

Pros: The landlord Jordi was always very helpful and kind and responded to our questions and needs with due dilligence and patience. The location super, exactly in the center of the city. Most tourist attractions of Barcelona - Gaudi's monuments and the Palau de Musica Catalan were in the walking distance. I do heartily recommend the appartment for both short and longer visists. We stayed there 11 days. Although the appartment is located in the proper city center it is very quiet. We stayed in January and February and were glad that there is good central heating system so we did not feel cold. There are heaters and AC which are efficient. The balcony is also a plus of the appartment.

Cons: The only aspect that needs correcting is the access system to the appartment. We only got One key for the appartment, though there were 2 of us . I think it would be recommendable to get 2 keys 1 for each. Also we did not get the key or chip for 2 entrance doors for the appartment . Every time we entered the building We needed to go in by using a special wifi controlled link. This was not a comfortable solution because every time we came back from shopping with hands full of bags we needed to accesss the phone open the mail with the link then open the link, press the door button and go in. This needed to be repeated for 2 entrance doors to the hallway. Then there were 2 doors for the appartment. This did not work one evening when the wifi system broke down so we needed to wait for some strange inhabitant of the building who was going into the apartment to open the door for us. We called our landlord and The wifi system was repaired the next day but we were stressed out waiting in front of the building and not being able to enter it. Also, the link entrance system is a problem when the phone batteries die. Then what do you do? you cannot call the landlord and cannot get in. However, the problem was solved by the landlord after the wifi breakdown episode and we asked for the chip for the door which worked out fine. Hope the managers rethink the key / chip system because it really does facilitate lives, especially that you do not want to be confronted with stress on holidays. I think that the chip or physical key for the 2 entrance doors for the hallway are an absolute must. - Food for thought recommendation.

Pros: Really great communication from the company and a beautiful apartment. Great location for restaurants and easy walking to main tourist sites like Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia

Pros: Very clean, basic apartment. Location is superb, 15 minutes walk from Sagrada Famila. Quite at night. There are a few nice restaurants around, nice market , nice bakery. Jordi the host was very good and quick with all enquires we had and suggested a few places to visit

Cons: Air con - def need an upgrade. It was very hot in the apartment and with only one air con in 1 room we have struggled a bit.

Great for a bigger group - two apartments opposite each other, convenient lockbox so not sharing keys! fantastic locatio

Pros: We booked the two apartments which were opposite each other. Really great location and super convenient for a bigger group.

Cons: Couch bed could have been comfier!!

Great stay in a great location

Pros: Property is bigger than it looks and quite well equipped. It has ar con, TV, wifi, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a nice balcony. The best part is the location, a short walk you reach everywhere. Sagrada Familia is a few blocks away and Batló house just a couple. We also met the cleaner, that was kind and nice and allowed us in as soon as the cleaning was finished.

Cons: Nothing about the property itself. The hot water in the shower is way too hot and it burned my husband - it could have been our son. So a warning would be nice! Plus, there was a constant reminder from the host about check out time. It felt a bit strange and unnecessary. However, he was polite.

Pros: I recommend! The location of the apartment was easy to find and very conveniently close to the Casa Mila. There are two cafes nearby with wonderful breakfasts.

Cons: Тhey need to fix some things but otherwise overall everything was ok.

Would recommend
