Barrio Gotico Apartments Ferran

Thanks for a great stay, a nice clean room and close to everything we wanted to see in Barcelona.

Pros: Very central property to all the sightseeing in Barcelona, and close to bars, pubs and restaurants. Very clean and well kept for an old building

Cons: Understandably the building is old and in the very busy gothic quarter of Barcelona, so the interior such as the old style wooden shutters are kept to fit in with this period, but the noise is constant, it feels as though you are outside on the street and it’s noisy throughout the night.

Fantastic central location in Barcelona

Pros: Fantastic studio apartment in the centre of Barcelona. Easy to walk to most places in the city, but also very close to a metro station for trips a little further afield. We stayed during La Mercè festival so there were lots of parades that actually came directly past the Accomodation. We had a fantastic view which as a nice surprise. Staff were exceptionally helpful, we left our bags with them after checkout as our flight was later in the day.

Cons: It may be a little loud for some people in the evenings/night (exacerbated by the festival which was on), but as someone that sleeps with earplugs at home anyway, I actually slept very well!

My stay was excellent. I recommend this place for sure.

Pros: The apartment was clean, the bed comfi and the location was fantastic. The kitchen area was compact but efficient. The stove and fridge worked very well. There was a cute little balcony. The decor was pretty. The best aspect was the communication with the manager. He always answered quickly.

Cons: The windows were very thin, so the noise from the street was loud but with earplugs I had no problem sleeping. The safe was a bit too small, I couldn't put my camera in it. The bathroom was very small but convenient. The TV was either a little too small or too far from the sofa or the bed.

Perfect location and balcony for watching the city life

Pros: Nice location, love the balcony for people watching! High ceiling and lovely day light through the balcony doors. Would definitely come again. The host also let us store the luggage which was perfecy - thank you!

Cons: As mentioned before, it is noisy. I did expect noisy people which doesnt bother me, but one night they were cleanint the streets/bin disposal and it was verg noisy. The host left some ear plugs which was a nice touch and did help with some of the noise. Anyways, would still come here again!

Fabulous- would definitely recommend the apartment.

Pros: The apartment was just like pictures. Had everything we needed, clean & maintained. It was very central. The owner Gustavo met us at the apartment as described and was very polite & helpful.

Cons: It’s not really a comment to say we didn’t like it- but just be prepared for lots of street noise- people enjoying them selves till the early hours.

Pros: The location, it was so close to La Rambla and in the beautiful Barrio Gotico.

Cons: At night in the weekend, it can get very noisy on the street.

Amazing apartment

Pros: The apartment was amazing. It was in an amazing spot for our vacation. The host was really helpful and welcoming. He went above and beyond our expectations. He even let us store our luggage before our check-in and check-out.

Long weekend in Barcelona

Pros: The best thing about this hotel was Aziz - the host who was extremely nice and helpful, always replying very fast to our questions on Whatsapp, booking us a taxi, made arrangements for us to check-in after midnight and check-out at 4 am etc. We really appreciate how helpful and kind he was! the room is well equipped and has everything you need for a city break

Cons: The price is probably justified for this excellent location (the heart of the historical centre) and considering that Barcelona in general is very expensive. But we found this price a bit too high considering that the walls of the flat were extremely thin, so you can hear every word spoken on the corridor, and we were also bothered by our neighbours making noise at night after they came back from a party... You can also hear people partying on the street the whole night. It's definitely not a place for someone who needs perfect silence to fall asleep and relax.
