Very welcoming and nice old house

Pros: The house is old, but nice and tastefully decorated. We liked how the owner placed old items through the house, even welcoming us through a typewriter. Beds are good and there is a lot of space in the apartment. Host is very attentive, we got detailed instructions prior to our arrival. There was even a small breakfast waiting for us. Recommended!

Cons: Parking may be difficult, we found a spot 150 meters away. No problem for us.

Pros: A warm, personalized welcome from the owner (typewritten note), excellent Wi-Fi, large TV, and spacious, well-ventilated bedrooms (especially the two larger rooms).

Cons: The twin single bedroom was somewhat compact

The host (Pere )is the reason you should stay here

Pros: Casa Iaia is one of the best place that I have live in. Home owner name this place Casa Iaia (means grandma) cause it was his grandma’s home built in the 1940-50’s. He is very caring, check in before we arrive, gave us instructions on how to get there, check us in when we arrive at 9pm. There was one morning we woke up in the mist, a-bit disappointed with the weather. He texted us not to worry with the weather as it is just low mist, the weather is great at the peak of Montserrat. We did what he suggested and we were rewarded with a sea of clouds right below us. He made one of the best day of our trip. All I can say is he is really a friendly, great host. He cares for us so much that we felt home away from home. Thank you Pere!

Beautiful, traditional family home in the heart of the village.

Pros: Stunning area with a view of Montserrat from the living room. Easy, free and safe parking on the street. We parked half way down the street initially and upgraded when one became available directly outside. Spacious, comfortable apartment with good wifi.

Cons: Nothing not to like.
