Guilleumes Montserrat

Great location

Pros: Great location to visit Monserrat. Very practical and clean room. Comfortable beds and easy communication and check in. The coffee machine in the room and the snacks in the corridor were such a pleasant surprise. Perfect for a family stay!

Cons: A bit difficult to find a parking space in the evening but we were there on Friday and Saturday which is quite busy in the area.

Pros: The room was comfortable; they were very helpful and allowed us to check in very early so we could leave our bags.

Cons: The information suggested there was a restaurant but pretty much everything in town was closed in late Oct when we were there.

Pros: Location in small village, near Monserrat. Clean room. Some restaurants near by

Wonderful location with nice view of the mountains.

Pros: The location is ideal, close to the city centre and the Crémaillère to get to Montserrat.

Cons: The walls are a bit thin and we had a family with kids full of energy in the room next which made it a bit noisy.

Pros: Comfortable beds afer a very long journey were just what we needed! And in the morning the view made our day!! Thank you!

Essential, and comfortable. Thieves in the parking around the hotel.

Pros: Essential, spacious, clean easy to check in and friendly staff. Very good place to stay for a one day trip to Monserrat.

Cons: Unfortunately, my car had a broken glass and one suitcase stolen while parked in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, during our daylight visit to Monserrat. I know it does absolutely not depend on the hotel staff, which was friendly and helpful, but it definitely ruined our vacations and the image connected to this place.

Room with a view.

Pros: The view and location to the monastery was great. Walking distance to the train line. Bed was comfortable. There is no restaurant, but they do leave out pre-packaged muffins and cakes, juice and fruit if needed.

Cons: We were provided with one plastic cup to share and use for coffee, juice, water etc. No cutlery or coffee cups. Have to wonder if things are regularly stolen so only provide a singular plastic cup?

Great for hiking around Montserrat

Pros: Friendly staff, fantastic location - right next to hiking trails and also a square with several bars. Snacks and drinks included in the price. There's a 10-minute parking spot in front of the hotel for unloading your luggage.

Cons: At first, we had some trouble finding a parking spot to leave the car overnight, but that's likely due to the holiday weekend. We managed to snatch one nearby after somebody else left.

Exceeded expectations, wonderful stay!

Pros: The room was perfect and so well designed. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Super comfy bed and great shower! Great to have a coffee machine in the room and coffee pods on demand.

Cons: The shower might be a little tight for someone on the larger side

Nice location, clean and spacious.

Pros: Great location, worked for us very well. We walked there from the train station and then went out for walks every day. We stayed there for three nights. Great walks straight from the hotel to Montserrat in either direction. The room itself was spacious and clean. Little breakfast on the landing was a nice addition. Just a few cakes and biscuits, coffee pods and juice. Set us up for the day ok. It was a shame that the restaurant itself wasn’t open when we stayed there but it was a low season, early April. We had our dinner and drinks at the nearest bar, Bar la Roca. It was a blessing it was open as not much else in town was open at that time. I’m sure it’s a busy little town during high season. Communication with the hotel was great, it worked for us well altogether. Simple but nice.

Cons: We were hoping the restaurant to be open, it wasn’t clear online that it wouldn’t be.
