Excellent choise, no hassle, quite and adequate

Pros: Big room, big windows, terrace, quiet, good shower, very centgral

Everything went great!

Pros: We easily found the place. Good place and close to many tourist spots and amenities.

Comfortable, great location and great sleep.

Pros: Very central location, close to metro and major sites and all amenities, very comfortable bed, excellent shower, quiet room which faced away from traffic for peaceful sleep.

Cons: Entry into the hostal on arrival was complicated because there is a remote reception relying on cctv camera entry system. Complicated. Relied on other visitors to gain entry into the hostal, very poor entry system because relies on remote reception which relies on security camera. But once another tourist traveller allowed me into the hostal it was fine and we found our room key on reception desk.

Great hotel for a short stay in the city

Pros: Great! Here's a tailored review for Hostal Barcelona: I had a great stay at Hostal Barcelona! The staff were welcoming and always ready to assist with any questions. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent—close to public transport and many of the city’s main attractions.

Cons: One small downside was the noise from the busy street outside, especially at night. But considering the central location, it’s a fair trade-off. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would happily return!

Pros: Comfortable bed , nice bath, very clean everywhere

Great location, clean room

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean and pleasant rooms

really good! :)

Pros: the room was clean and there was everything I could need, maybe I would suggest to add a little fridge in the room

Cons: the guests next door were a little loud at odd hours, even 5 am and It was a little difficult to sleep sometimes

Pros: great location, staff always helpful via app or phone, automated late check-in and check-out, very convenient.

Cons: Clean but there was hair on the bed and in the shower when we arrived.

Perfect location, nice and clean rooms:)

Pros: It was in a very convenient location, stores nearby and all sightseeings and restaurants were in walking distance. We upgraded the room when we arrived, and having the fridge was an excellent idea. Balcony was also nice. The staff was welcoming and cleaned the room nicely. Recommend this for your stay in Barcelona, good price, great location.

Cons: It would have been nice to have some cutlery and maybe 2 plates. We had glasses, but had to improvise with other things. It was also a little hear-through so when someone was speaking loud or doing constructions you could sometimes hear it, but it was not that big of an issue, especially if you spend the day outside
