Hungary 🇭🇺

A 19th century villa in a vibrant holiday setting.

Pros: The location of the apartment is excellent. The beach is in a few minutes walking distance. There are several shops, bars and restaurant around. The apartment is located in a late 19th century villa quarter. There is a train station in a 6-7 minutes walk, hence Barcelona center can be reached very easily. The apartment has air conditioner, the kitchen is well equipped.

Cons: Only small things: the airing of the bathroom could be improved. The washbasin drains slowly. The toilet tank fills slowly.

A comfortable stay in an excellent location.

Pros: There is so much to like about this property. There was a warm welcome from the owner who quickly helped us with any problems we had and checked in with us via text to ensure we were happy about half-way through our stay - perfect. The property itself is clean and comfortable. The location is excellent: very good transport links into Barcelona; a five minute walk to the beach and excellent restaurants and cafes on your doorstep (but not so close that they disturb you with any noise!)

Cons: The shower is a bit low and I would have appreciated a full length mirror. We would have appreciated a larger chopping board too. These weren’t big problems and we highly recommend staying here.

Hübsche private Ferienwohnung

Pros: Ein wunderschönes altes Haus in guter Lage. Direkt am Meer, im Zentrum des kleinen Ortes, nah an der Bahn und verschiedenen Geschäften. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert und auf unsere Wünsche wurde sehr schnell reagiert. Wir fragten nach wärmeren Decken, da es im April noch etwas kühl war und bekamen umgehend welche vorbeigebracht. Der Vermieter wies uns auch auf die Heizung hin, die einwandfrei funktionierte. Auch auf unsere zweite Bitte wurde schnell reagiert, wir bekamen einen Espressokocher, da das Gerät in der Küche (eine simple Kapselmaschine von Senseo) nicht unsere Erwartungen an schmackhaften Kaffee entsprach. Für uns war es eine perfekte Unterkunft. Wir können uns vorstellen, noch einmal zu kommen.

Cons: Wir trinken wirklich gerne und viel Kaffee. Das Gerät in der Küche (von Senseo?) hat allerdings nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Wir haben deshalb nach einem Espressokocher gefragt und daraufhin vom Vermieter am selben Tag einen kleinen Espressokocher (für eine Portion) erhalten. Das war dann in Ordnung für uns, aber etwas umständlich (da wir 3 Kaffeetrinker waren, ein größerer Espressokocher wäre noch besser gewesen).
