Seaside April Apartment by Hello Homes Sitges

Great experience, wonderful place.

Pros: The location is amazing, mere few metres from a nice beach. There were lots of other beaches nearby, but we didn't bother. The flat has AC, a nice common room and 2 full bathrooms. There were also beach umbrellas, which saved us a lot of money.

Cons: No bottle opener.

It is in a great location, very good value for money

Pros: It is in a great location, the beach, which is about a 1-minute walk away, is wonderful. The train station and bus are a 12-minute walk away, about 40 minutes from Barcelona (Sitges is part of the Barcelona transport system), and there is also a direct airport bus line. The lively and beautiful downtown of Sitges is close by, but the surroundings of the accommodation are still quiet. The apartment is spacious, well appointed, fully air conditioned, large fridge and freezer, very good washing machine and smart TV. There are umbrellas for the beach.

Cons: Most of the furniture and equipment are in poor condition, the bunk beds squeak terribly. The kitchen utensils and pans are in terrible condition, there is no wine opener ( :-) ). We were not provided with a cover for bed linen, only thin sheets for blankets. The apartment is nicely painted, but the paint is not properly cleaned from the floor, handles, doors, there are many small defects in the bathrooms and bedrooms as well (e.g. clumsy shower hanger, non-functioning dryer, clogged bathtub, broken vacuum cleaner pipe, etc.). The cleaning could be improved a lot...

Heerlijk verblijf voor een goede prijs

Pros: De locatie is perfect dicht bij de zee en blak bij het stadje. Bedden slapen goed en 2 badkamers is erg fijn!

Cons: De bovenburen hoorden we soms met stoelen schuiven in de nacht en het balkon is echt heel erg klein. Er was geen wasrek aanwezig, dat zou fijn zijn geweest.

Comfortable and clean, good AC, responsive host, close to beach, good transportation service

Pros: While we waited outside the greeter was waiting inside. He should have stood outside waiting for us.

Cons: No wine opener.

Recommend

Pros: Apartment with 2 private bathrooms, 1 bedroom and other 2 rooms with junk beds, living room and kitchen. 5 min walk to San Sebastian beach (no smoking allowed or music). Nice sandy beach, good for kids. Very nice city (Sitges), lot of areas to eat, and good for evening walk. Close to Barcelona, less than 1hr with train.

Cons: Not an issue, but good to know in case you are with kids - we found that is a big gay community in Sitges, and take note that the beach = Platja dels Balmins it's more for nudism, especially male. We didn't had any issues walking in the evening with kids in the city, looks to be a very safe location and is for you to be prepared to explain this part to them if not aware yet.

Pros: Das Appartement war sehr modern eingerichtet und liegt sehr zentral. Nur kurzer Weg zum Strand. Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Apartamento cómodo y bonito

Pros: Apartamento a lado de la playa, bien equipado con nevera grande, lavavajillas, horno, sombrillas y muchas toallas. Cómodo y bien ubicado.

Cons: Internet un poco lento y las literas se mueven bastante
