Barceló Apartaments

Excellent place if you want to be in the village below the Monserrat mountains.

Pros: Location and facilities within it were good. It would have been good to better understand that there is a good bakery, all purpose shop as well as bar/restaurant on the same road, before arriving. Reasonably available parking further up the street.

Cons: Some language barrier as we didn’t speak Spanish, but we got round it in the end.

Pros: Everything was super easy and the owner was really accomodating to help me out.

Pros: Fantastic view and lots of space in the apartment. We were doing some bike riding in the area so the location was excellent for us. We had a couple of hiccups with the induction but our host responded quickly and solved the issues. Brilliant area for cycling and walking.

Pros: Great value for money, you get what you see on the pictures. The view is amazing, having a Jacuzzi in this spectacular location makes this an exceptional stay! Arrival, Jacuzzi, facilities, storing our bag after checkout: all was completely hassle free. I think because the decor isn't stylish (Instagram-able) some people might find it basic but it's perfectly clean and well-equipped. The views from the Jacuzzi are definitely Instagram-able:D

Cons: The photos and room descriptions can be a bit confusing to match. The bottom floor room has the garden attached and includes a Jacuzzi on the terrace that's included and accessible throughout the whole stay. I received several messages offering to book Jacuzzi and sauna time in addition to my room booking, so that made it more confusing. In the end I was told there is no sauna. Paying the tourist tax in cash (exact amount) is a bit of a hassle. You just have to keep in mind to get change, but the host was flexible enough and let us drop the money off after checkout.

Very recommended

Pros: Location is great , Very good comunication with The lanlord even if she did not spoke english and i don't speak spanish. beautiful view , spacious and comfy room with extra small room for child . Everything was there ! There is a shop on the same street and restaurants near by . Very close to Monserrat . Had a lovely stay ! Thank you !

OK room/flat, but not much life in the village on weekdays.

Pros: Nice big room, aircon working fine. Close to the station.

Cons: No person at our arrival, and no instruction received in advance. Another couple (Spanish) called the landlord (twice), and finally we were told how to get in. But the instructions to the Spanish couple were app. wrong, as we got the room at 1st. floor, but we should have had the one in the cellar with terrace/garden as we have ordered. Also the was no hot water when we arrived, so we checked everywhere and wrote vith the landlord, and finally we found out, that the landlord had forgotten to turn on the hot water .....

Super nice hosts and beautiful views and garden, perfect for an escape

Pros: Helpful, friendly, communicative hosts and staff, very clean, and a beautiful garden with stunning views. We came here to escape the San Juan fireworks in the city for our dog, and it was a great choice.

A beautiful little getaway from the city

Pros: The beautiful view om the montserrat from the terrace and the lovely little village its located in

Cons: A bit of unclear communication from the host about where to go and how to get the keys, wasn’t a big issue though!

Pros: Great location, wonderful whirlpool in the garden with Montserrat view.

Pros: Everything was awesome, the jacuzzi was amazing and the view absolutely fantastic.

Cons: The cosy style of appartment could be upgraded to one level higher, yet it was still very nice.
