Rambla de Marisol Apartments

Pros: Very nice and beautiful complex, with a swimming-pool surrounded by a well-maintained garden. The area around is very pleasant, easy access to cafes and restaurants.

Cons: Would have preferred a slightly bigger bathroom, but it wasn't a problem.

Perfect retreat

Pros: Loved the location and couldn't fault the facilities and cleanliness. The staff that I saw were friendly. Thank you

Cons: Apart from realising that we were responsible for sheets and towels etc. Absolutely nothing

Pros: Location, value for money and comfort of room. Walking distance to train, beach and all sort of shops, easy to find bars and restaurants nearby and also easy-to-use park. Very quiet also despite proximity to roads. Kitchen well equipped, pots and pans need a bit of an update bit honestly , you can eat out cheap or by home made take away easy

Cons: The shower size. Very very very very small so water splashes into the also small bathroom. A shame because the decor and quality of appliances is great but specially for my partner who is very wide and tall is was quite a challenge.....and there would have been enough room to make it a little bigger. I would rather have to pay and be able to use a professional dryer, there is only one in the complex so it is not always available as it is a domestic one and takes forever... it was raining so hanging was not a option

Great to stay in Castelldefels

Pros: The studio was very clean with very comfortable bed and linen. There was some crockery and cutlery- enough to heat up food to eat at home. We really liked being in Castelldefels-away from the crowds of Barcelona. We liked catching the bus in to Barcelona so we got to see the surrounding area. The beach was about a 10 minute walk away in 1 direction and the centre of the village and the train station were the same distance in the other direction. We loved the pool

Cons: Perhaps a little smaller than I expected- but it met all our needs well.

Pros: Spotlessly clean. Nice quiet area and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Pool is a lovely area but unfortunately we were so busy we didn’t really get to enjoy it.

Cons: Air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly.

Pros: Location, staff responded quickly and helped to solve an issue with AC. Cozy swimming pool. They provided a baby high chair and crib.

Cons: It was hot at the beginning and ac didn’t cool down the apartment first. Sometimes it’s tricky to press buttons on the lockers.

Pros: In a great location for both the train station and the beaches.

Cons: Outside light kept going on an off. An observation not a criticism!

Escape from the noise but be close to Barcelona!

Pros: It is out of Barcelona but there are regular bus links and we got a public transport card to allow us to travel easily. The facilities were good, you get a bit of privacy and the staff were always available for any issue or questions you might have. Not far from shops and bars. There is a lovely beach with beach bars too, it feels more peaceful compared to the chaos in Barcelona. We were also allowed to leave our suitcases at a sister venue until it was time to head to the airport. Would recommend 100%! Had to pay deposit but it was sent back after a couple of days.

Cons: It was really good, I can't complain at all. We were unlucky with the small iron that was in the room which started smoking as soon as I plugged it in, but I reported it to the staff and I'm sure they would get a replacement. We didn't get replacement towels but in their defence, we didn't ask for them either :)

Pleasant experience, without concerns.

Pros: The room was clean, modern, and properly prepared. The communication was a high priority by the hosts. The location was quiet.

Cons: Just the pool feels a bit small if multiple rooms are using it at the same time.
