1229 - AWESOME CITY CENTER APARTMENT WITH TERRACE

Lovely time

Pros: The location was great, near La Rambla, Casa Battlo, casa Mila. With 24 hour open stores, restaurants nearby. A recently open Korean restaurant with great food near the entrance of the building. The apartment was very spacious, a comfortable couch for relaxing evenings in front of the TV ( a little bit outdated- everybody should have a smart TV nowadays because the TV channels was only in Spanish). We were very pleased to see that it had three toilets.

Cons: The toilet near the entrance had a smell. They have tried to cover it with perfumes, but it was still heavy. The furniture was outdated and the top shelves had dust on them. They should insist more with the cleaning.

Pros: Location perfect. In the centre if the city. Easy to travel/walk too and from the apartment. Very quiet.

Overall great stay, would definitely rent it again.

Pros: Great apartment in the center of the city. Very comfy in cold weather - heating works well and unlimited hot water. Lots of utensils/plates in the kitchen. Nice backyard patio. Wonderful and very cooperative owner.

Cons: The small shower leaked to the floor below, so we couldn't use it. The owner kindly offered us a discount though as compensation for the inconvenience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the apartment was amazing ( apart from those tiny things above )

Cons: Only a small tiny tiny few things…. All of the taps were very loose so not easy to use, the bath didn’t drain the water away so had to try and unblock the plug. There were no breakfast bowls / soup bowls as being English we do like a bowl of cereal in the morning so our boys had to eat from the large coffee cups. Other than that the place is amazing.

Pros: Traveling as a small group of friends, we found this apartment to be a bit like Barcelona itself—charming, full of character, and in need of the occasional update. The location is unbeatable, putting the city’s best within strolling distance. Inside, the bones of a beautiful older home show through: classic tile, plenty of space, and even the bonus of a washer and dryer (a true luxury for travelers). Beds were fine—not cloud-like, but no complaints in the morning. The showers, however, deserve applause for water pressure that could probably rival a fire hydrant. All said, it’s a classic Barcelona stay—atmospheric and well-located. With a few updates, it could be every bit as impressive inside as the city is outside.

Cons: A few areas could use some attention. The WiFi was slow, which made staying connected more of a siesta than a sprint. The furniture and apartment feel ready for a refresh, and while the terrace looks good on paper, in practice it was too dark and walled-in to really enjoy a glass of wine. Also, the required check-in documents didn’t arrive until the morning of arrival—a nail-biter for anyone already on the road. Sending them a week in advance would go a long way.
