Modernist Apartment Barcelona

Great apartment, great location and great understanding owner :o)

Pros: The apartment was very central and chosen due to its easy proximity to a metro station, local attractions we were visiting and because it suited the number in our party - three couples. Two people had to sleep in single rooms but that also suited us (heavy snoring partner!) We liked that it was all on the ground floor (albeit there are a few steps up to the apartment once inside the building) the general space and having two bathrooms. The apartment is old (historic) but well maintained and in good upkeep. There was ample seating and we liked having the bedding and towels avoiding the need to take our own. The owner was very accommodating regarding arrival and payment which was very much appreciated.

Cons: It was airy and light but a little draughty in winter. We countered that by keeping internal doors closed to maintain heat so not a big issue. The apartment is old (historic) but well maintained and in good upkeep. Two of the bedrooms are close to a main road and therefore heard traffic noise, particularly at night. We always take earplugs as we are light sleepers but something to be aware of. The wooden shutters block out light but not sound due to age of property. Again not a deal breaker for us but something worth knowing.

Great apartment for a family of 5 looking to explore Barcelona

Pros: Even before we arrived, communication with Olga and Carlos was fantastic. They were very helpful and shared their local knowledge freely. The location of the apartment was great. Close to public transport but we were also able to walk to many of the city’s hot-spots. As a family of 5, we found the apartment very spacious and perfect for us. The apartment was very clean throughout and we had access to everything we could need inside. Overall we had a brilliant stay in Barcelona.

Super beautiful, centrally located and friendly host!

Pros: Super beautiful appartement at a central location, loads of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Public transportation a couple mins walk. Definitely recommend!

Pros: Carlos really made a positive impact on our stay in Barcelona! He was very helpful with communication and clear instructions about travel around the city. The apartment was a beautiful spot in the heart of Barcelona, near Girona metro stop only one block away. The apartment had a large reception room, two toilets/showers with kitchen and all white goods required. I'd love to stay here again. Thank you

Great unique flat

Pros: A lovely quirky flat in a great location. Carlos met us at the door and was very helpful. The flat is very large, nicely decorated and supplied everything we needed and more! Highly recommend this place for a family or large group.

Pros: I couldn't have dreamed of better hosts. There were gifts waiting for us and the children. My son fell ill and the host took us to the hospital during Christmas. he helped us with everything. wonderful people
