Pros: Nice little appartment. Nicely located, clean, with everything you need for your stay.

A cool space in a great location

Pros: A great apartment in a cool location - lots of space and it had everything we wanted and the communication was very good.

Cons: The apartment is on the 4th floor, there's no lift and the stairs are quite narrow...and we had to pay a supplementary fee instead of a single payment and then we also had to register online which wasn't simple...

Nice and cosy apartment

Pros: Nice and cosy apartment, clean, comfortable for a couple, great location in the city centre, our host agreed to check-out two hours later.

Cons: The noise from the street can be heard, though this was not disturbing (it is on a small street without cars)

Perfect apartment, good location and a comfy stay

Pros: The property was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it was just perfect. 15 mins walk to the harbour and most attractions. There is quite a few stairs especially if you stay on the top floor but this wasn’t an issue to us.

Cons: The Apartment name doesn’t exist on Apple Maps. So make sure you use google maps especially at night because all the streets look the same. The apartment name comes up as a street 5 mins from and the locals also couldn’t figure out where it was so it’s with noting for Apple users. There was also a few homeless people lingering and sleeping outside the apartment which can’t be helped but is worth knowing.

Pros: LOOK NO FURTHER! This place is what you are searching for 💛 The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Great location, wonderful bathroom. Nice lighting. Exceptionally clean.

Cons: There was an overwhelming strong scent of men’s cologne in the apartment. It appeared to be on the decorative pillows in the bedroom and lounge room. If this was intentional by the host, I strongly suggest not scenting the apartment in the future as it made for a rough start.

Nice little apartment, very clean, great location.

Pros: Very nice little apartment, great location. Incredibly clean and well looked after, a good kitchen with a full sized fridge and small freezer, well stocked with equipment - we made breakfast most days and made dinner a couple of times. We weren’t bothered by noise as the bedroom was away from the window. Lots of stairs but by the end of the week we quite enjoyed the workout. Super easy to walk to many places (less than 25 minutes walk to the beach!) and there were so many lovely gluten free places nearby.

Cons: As mentioned, lots of stairs! When we arrived we were very tired from travelling and it was a struggle to get our bags upstairs, but luckily there was a cleaning lady there who was so sweet and helped us with them. However, by the end of the week, the stairs felt much easier and I brought our bags down with ease. The TV didn’t work, staff were very helpful and told us a maintenance person could come to fix it, but we weren’t bothered enough to spend valuable holiday time waiting to get the TV fixed so we just didn’t use it - would have been nice for it to work though. Would also have loved a shelf in the shower, wasn’t a big deal but a bit inconvenient.

Comfortable, clean and great location for sightseeing.

Pros: Clean, reasonably well equipped, comfortable property, ideal for a few days exploring Barcelona. Location is perfect to walk to most popular attractions within 20-30 mins. Air conditioning was appreciated! Booking communication was clear and appreciated the secure entry for the building and apartment. It’s in the gothic quarter which can feel a bit eerie at night and there are a few people sadly sleeping rough as in most cities but never had a problem - we loved the area!

Cons: Very little - although could do with somewhere to hang a towel in the bathroom and a couple of extra cleaning products to wipe and clean tables etc. also instructions on where to put recycling and refuse would be helpful.

handy apartment in the gothic area of Barcelona!

Pros: was very comfortable for 3 people to stay, very handy little kitchen for cooking breakfast and washing machine for clothes during the stay! Location was great, near the metro and Barcelona cathedral, was very surprised when I read negative reviews about the street being unsafe, we were a group of 3 young women and had no issues coming home late at night. There was one man who obviously was sleeping rough on the street outside but he didn’t bother us and was polite, said hello to him passing the first day and that was it! Maybe people visiting are used to more clean touristy areas and less residential, but unhoused people are not dangerous inherently and deserve respect and kindness like everyone else!

Cons: maybe could have had more amenities such as toilet paper, there were only 2 rolls so you get your own if staying for a few days!

Pros: The host is really nice. All communication was kind and swift, including ability of earlier check-in. Even when we’ve had an issue with the fridge, it was replaced for a new once pretty quickly (with a sweet compliment left on top for inconveniences). The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was also quite convenient for accessing city sights, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. Metro station is also close.

Cons: The location was super noisy during the whole day and night. We could see the homeless man staying / sleeping right next to the door of the building during the whole period of our staying. We understand that it’s out of control of the host for sure, but it leaves somehow unpleasant experience. Though, looking at the bright sight, we always cool recognize our door :)

Pros: So easy to get into the apartment, just used the code for the door so no hassle collecting keys etc

Cons: There was a group of homeless people outside the address who were harmless but would have felt a little safer getting in at night if they weren’t there
