Top Barcelona Apartments

Pros: Great location and fantastic host. Walkable to lots of Barcelona sights

Cons: We didn't know that it was top floor apartment with approx 70 stairs. My husband had torn calf at the time, which was unfortunate.. Maybe I didn't take notice of the advert, but stairs made it difficult for us. Host was gracious enough to carry a suitcase up for us. Sofa bed was ok... apartment had a musty smell.. But apart from that all good.

Terrace apartment

Pros: Very central location, nice quiet area, the terrace was lovely, very near shops and lovely restaurants

Fabulous, central, quiet, sweet, all conveniences you need for a great Barcelona experience.

Pros: I loved the location. Mostly quiet when you needed quiet. Felt very secure. Got exercise up down 70 steps.

Cons: The bed needs replacing, dips in the middle, annoying, Tahoe shower toilet needs hand rails. Very different design and even upyoung people could have an accident, stepping up to toilet, not normal, and step out of shower is small ~ being o,der we were exceptionally careful, so ok Everything else just fine. TV finally got DMAX to be I. English but took a day or more. Maybe instructions would be good (we had travelled to 3 other countries and DMAX never a problem. Fabulous property, could have stayed quite a few more days easily. Thank you

Pros: Lovely apartment with everything you need in a brilliant location.

Wonderful stay in Barcelona

Pros: Most welcoming staff, we received good valuable information about how to reach the beach, and about the surroundings. The apartment is large, well equipped, centrally located within walking distance to plaza Catalunya, metro, most shops, even Gracia street for wonderful shopping. Very convenient to have two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus a living room. Thank you for your hospitality, much appreciated.

Cons: Everything was good, maybe a little sewage smell in the small bathroom, but all good.

Pros: Amazing apartment Amazingly central Could not fault it apart from one thing The stairs !!!! 3rd floor apartment 86 steps 2 prams Not great But by the end of the stay we were fit. I would stay here again BUT not with buggy’s and prams as not safe to leave in the reception area of complex

Pros: Cynthia was so nice, let us in early and really helpful. Very good communication beforehand.

A place we would like to return to!

Pros: Thos host was very accommodating. He gave us tips on restaurants and a place where we could store our luggage on the day of departure, and when we managed to lock ourselves out, he came and helped us super quickly! The location was really central.

Cons: There are a lot of stairs so the place is less suitable for people with poor mobility (for us it was just a good workout).

Cons: narrow staircase 3 floors high, one more toilet would help for larger group

Pros: Great to have clear info in English before we arrived and to be met by a friendly English Speaker. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was pretty clean. Location was excellent. It was a real bonus to have an en-suite as well as a family bathroom. Great showers. Really nice to have a sitting and dining area and a little kitchen. Liked having a little enclosed patio area for fresh air.

Cons: Kitchen was not very well equipped. When we arrived late at night the kettle wasn't working but a quick text to Manel and a new kettle was delivered early the next day. No plug for the sink or washing up bowl so washing up had to be done in the big saucepan. No cheese grater for grating cheese on our pasta. No oven, just a microwave and a two ring hob which limited cooking options due to size of pans that would fit on the hob together. We tried every which way but loose but couldn't find any channels on either TV - I don't think we missed anything but some instructions would have been helpful.
